What does a monthly porta potty rental include?

Every 28-day rental includes a weekly service visit: pump the tank, pressure-wash and sanitize the interior, refill deodorizer, restock toilet paper and hand sanitizer. The 28-day cycle is billed up front, renews automatically, and ends when you call for pickup. Month two and beyond cost less because the one-time delivery-and-pickup charge is only on the first cycle.

A 28-day cycle is not a calendar month. Four weeks from a Monday delivery renews on the fifth Monday. The invoice shows the renewal date so a homeowner finishing a remodel can call for pickup the week before.

Who rents by the month in Central Oregon

Monthly porta potty renters in Central Oregon fall into six groups: remodeling homeowners, owner-builders on rural lots, households waiting on a septic replacement, farms and ranches with seasonal hands, retail sites during restroom remodels, and owners of lots visited on weekends. Each rents on the same 28-day cycle.

  • Homeowners during kitchen, bathroom and whole-house remodels: usually one cycle, sometimes two.
  • Owner-builders on new homes in Deschutes River Woods, Tumalo and La Pine: six to twelve cycles.
  • Households waiting on a septic replacement; Deschutes County permits the new system through its onsite wastewater program, and the wait can run weeks.
  • Ranches and farms for seasonal hands; Oregon OSHA requires one toilet and one hand wash facility per 20 workers within a quarter mile.
  • Retail and property managers during restroom remodels, usually with an accessible unit.
  • Property owners who want a toilet on a lot they visit on weekends; a lighter service schedule is available for low use.

Low-use rentals

For a unit used only a few days a month, such as a lot you visit on weekends or a hunting property, we offer a 28-day cycle with service every two weeks instead of weekly at a lower rate. Tell dispatch the expected use; a unit that sees fewer than 20 uses a week does not need weekly pumping.

Ending the rental

Call for pickup. Pickup is never automatic, because most customers extend. The unit is removed within two business days, billing stops on the pickup date, and a cycle already started is not prorated. If you call before the renewal date, no new cycle is charged.

Questions people ask us before they book

How much is a porta potty for a month?

A standard unit is $280 per 28-day cycle with weekly service, plus a one-time $60 delivery-and-pickup charge in Bend. Renewals are $280. There is no sales tax in Oregon and no separate removal fee.

I only need it for two months. Do I pay for each month?

Two 28-day cycles. The second cycle costs less because delivery is charged once. Call for pickup during the second cycle and billing stops at pickup.

Does the price include weekly cleaning?

Weekly service is inside the 28-day price: pump, wash, sanitize, deodorize, restock paper and sanitizer.

What if I keep it longer than a month?

Nothing changes. The cycle renews automatically on the date shown on your invoice until you call for pickup. No re-booking, no new delivery charge.

Can you deliver to my mom's rural property outside Bend?

County roads in Deschutes River Woods, Tumalo, Alfalfa, Terrebonne and the Sunriver area are on daily routes. Send the address and gate details; a 26-foot service truck needs a turnaround or a straight driveway.

Is there a senior or veteran discount?

Households on a fixed income can ask about the low-use schedule, which lowers the cycle price when the unit is used by one or two people.

My septic failed. How fast can you get here and how long can I keep it?

Same-day in Bend when you call before noon. Keep it as many cycles as the septic replacement takes; the renewal rate is lower than the first cycle.
